Special Edition: Celebrating the New Rotary Year ... in Pictures

We started the new Rotary Year yesterday by blanketing the city of Dunwoody with 1,000 Rotary Club of Dunwoody helium balloons ... distributed at the parade and at our RCD hot dog stand. We had lots of FUN (including a great Sunday afternoon balloon party) and an awesome start to our goal this year to increase awareness of Rotary in the community. This special edition of our weekly bulletin celebrates that event in pictures.

I also invite you all to join us this Friday for our first amazing speaker of the year - sportscaster Tony Barnhart is back by popular demand with his look at College Football 2021-22. We usually draw a large group for this annual event, so let us know if  you're bringing guests.

Continuing an Annual Tradition ... of Fun, Kids, More Fun!

Thanks to Anne and Clark Glenn for hosting a Balloon Party on Sunday afternoon - complete with low country sliders and wine! And for assembling everything from signage and flags to balloons and helium tanks!

And to Tim and Amy Le for lending their Humvee and trailer to our parade efforts - and Ken and Sherry Levy for including their brand new pickup and a sound system to blast patriotic music along the parade route!

Meanwhile, back at our hot dog stand, Kobelah Bennah and Ed Holliday took time out on Sunday to set up the booth - complete with vintage signs.

Dunwoody Kids ... Part of the Fun !

Joining our celebration - Claudio Segura with Zoey (left), Jen, Julia and William Brandt (center), Ed Holliday's grandchildren who got the first two balloons and rode on the float (top right), Mike Parks with Zoey and nephew Oregon, and Peyton Adkins-Graham (our 2020-21 Rookie of the Year) with her son and daughter (bottom right)

Thanks to All Who Joined In ...
