No Meeting This Friday Join Us on 9/18 for Thirsty Thursday at Brook Run Park - DHA Food Truck Night!
The Dunwoody Homeowners Association is hosting Food Truck Thursday - and we've decided to take our own Thirsty Thursday there this week. Join us at Brook Run Park for music, food and community! Join us from 5-8pm at Brook Run Park! Whiskey Raffle Update Keep on Gathering! We are now in the third week of gathering bottles of whiskey and other collectible spirits for the raffle. It is very important that we reach our prize pool goal in order to market and sell tickets in October and November! We’re now in the final couple of weeks of finalizing our prize pool so we can start advertising our raffle in earnest! We need your help in finalizing a good prize pool to meet our goal!! There are three ways that you can help: - Look for donations from people you know - for example, whiskey enthusiasts, restaurant owners, or others who prize and collect whiskey.
- Go to Dunwoody Beverage and select a whiskey off the registry list to donate to the club. It’s tax deductible for you and Dunwoody Beverage will donate 10% back to the club!
- Keep on the lookout for announced whiskey tastings! This is one of new ways of marketing the raffle and selling tickets. It’s also a great way to talk to your friends who might enjoy whiskey and might equally enjoy a social outing with the Rotary club!
Remember: if you’re not sure what to get, look for scotch 18yrs or older, rye or bourbon 12yrs and older, anything that is “allocated” (meaning it’s scarce), or if all else fails anything over $50. Check out our overall timeline. [read more] Know Anyone? After
an incredibly successful debut, St. Patrick's Dunwoody Oktoberfest is back for
its second year, bringing festive flair and meaningful impact to the heart of
the city. Hosted at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church at 4755 North Peachtree
Road, directly across from Brook Run Park, this beloved fall event will be held
on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Once
again, this free-to-attend, family-friendly festival will combine the fun of a
traditional Oktoberfest celebration with the purpose of supporting St.
Patrick's community ministries, including Malachi's Storehouse and Anchor Place
Respite Dunwoody. Enjoy
authentic German cuisine, including bratwurst, roasted chicken, and soft
pretzels, a lively beer hall and biergarten experience, live polka music and
local entertainment, a dedicated KinderZone filled with carnival games, crafts,
playground time, and prizes, a variety of local vendors with shopping and
giveaways, and of course, our signature keepsake beer steins.
