Fellowship
Rotary Fellowship is Off to a Good Start!

The Dunwoody Family of Rotary enjoyed two social events already in July - a night at the Gwinnett Stripers (thanks to Ken and Sherry Levy for coordinating this) and last week's Thirsty Thursday gathering at BAR{n} in Dunwoody.

Don't Miss Another Bounds Garden Rave Party

A hardy band of Sprucetarians  met at Bounds Gardens at 0900 last Saturday:  Rick Otness, Carter Stout, Rick Woods, Tina Philpot, Bill Kelly, and yours truly Ranger Fred.  Mostly brute strength is employed save the intellectual challenge of what plants to leave alone, and what not.  Typical scene: weeding, clipping, and sweeping.  Done in 75 minutes, like a piranha turning a water buffalo into a skeleton in minutes, we don’t mess around.

Look at the roster of participants, four of the six are past presidents of RCD.  Pretty high-powered group, not afraid to wake up, get their bones down to the garden and work.  Like most of the spruce teams, this one was old:  Carter was the youngster.

Now we're out to lower the age profile. Let me extend the prickly hand of fellowship, and invite you to join us on future dates - all at 9:00 am:  8/20/22, 10/22/22, 1/22/23, 3/18/23 and 5/20/23
