Tis the Time to Buy Tickets for Our Whiskey Raffle

It's a great time to get your tickets for our first drawing - featuring two bottles of bourbon from distilleries local to Atlanta. The first is ShortBarrel Toasted 101, a small batch Kentucky Bourbon aged a few long Kentucky summers, re-barreled in new traditional medium toasted barrels for a minimum of 21 days. The result - is a pleasantly balanced toasted bourbon with just the right amount of vanilla, candy and sweet oak flavor. Bottled at 101 proof this bourbon will surely become a staple on any bar. The second is from the Distillery of Modern Art, a very new distillery. The bottle is a corn whiskey that is being distilled at the present time. We can't say for certain that the bottle will be ready at the time of the drawing, but if it isn't, a gift certificate will be provided for later pickup. Ticket cost is $10 ... and there are still more than 100 tickets available for purchase! Drawing takes place October 20. [read more]

From Dave Burr, Membership Director
Our Club Will Host Chamber Networking Event on October 11

The Dunwoody Perimeter Chamber sponsors a monthly networking event for their members - the August event was at Fogo Fogo de Chão and the September 20 event was at Bar Peri[1]. Here's the exciting news: our Club will sponsor the October 11th event at the Spruill Gallery.

The event offers an opportunity for chamber members to meet each other, network, enjoy the food and beverages, visit the Spruill Gallery, and learn about Rotary. Our club will use this opportunity to promote our community involvement and attract new members.

As the club sponsors the event, we have opportunities to promote your business. We want to highlight you as one of the local business leaders involved in the club. Can you promote your business by helping with:

  1. Door prizes - Can you donate a unique gift? We would like 2-3 door prizes that could be an item with your company name on it, a gift certificate to a local restaurant or event, a gift bag of a bottle of wine, etc.
  2. Gift bag items - We will prepare gift bags for each of the 50 attendees. Does your business have a coupon, a coffee mug, a business card, a flyer, or something similar to add to the gift bag?

Please reply directly to Dave Burr if you can provide a door prize or gift bag.
