Whiskey Fundraiser Update
It’s Here: Spirited Dunwoody

Whiskey Night is Already Over 50% Sold Out… and We Want to Sell Out!!  You can buy tickets for the event or the Pappy Van Winkle 15yr Bourbon at   https://spiriteddunwoody.com/

There are only 21 tickets remaining for this event… and it’s going to be awesome. Over $2,500 in whiskey ready for the tasting at $100 per ticket… tell everyone! The event is limited to 50 tickets and those lucky few are going to taste a rare lineup that few ever get a chance to experience.

We’re also raffling an amazing bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 15yr Bourbon!

For those who can’t attend the tasting on November 19, you can still enter the raffle for one of the most sough-after bourbons on the planet. Tell everyone! The Pappy Van Winkle 15yr Bourbon is an incredible donation and will excite anyone with a passing interest in bourbon. It can go for over $2,000 on the secondary market. They do not have to attend to win!

Service Opportunity
Save the Date: October 28 at USO

The Rotary Club of Dunwoody will be volunteering at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport's USO on Wednesday, October 28, and we need your help! We will serve our service personnel and family members an “All American” lunch of hot dogs with all the condiments, potato chips, fresh fruit, snack bars, cookies, bottled water plus a portion of baked Ziti & Momma’s meatball.

Volunteer in person: We would like to have eight volunteers for the day from 9 AM to 3 PM. You can also participate for a short shift of 9 AM to 12 noon or 12 noon to 3 PM. Duties vary from greeter, hot dog grill mate, server, cookie bagger, bag monitor among other to do items that need to be done to serve our military service personnel.  It is strongly recommended that volunteers take MARTA to the airport instead of driving due to the continued limited parking due to the construction at the airport.

Donate cookies:  we want the best for our military personnel but starting this year USO new regulations prohibit ANY HOME-made food items to be served. We ask to please donate cookies that are commercially made. Box of cookies can be dropped off to the E.48th Street Market on 10/26 and 27, 2026 before 6PM. We will repack them on the day of service.

Unable to volunteer: Members who are unable to volunteer can participate by donating bottled water (small bottles) and snack bars such as Nature Valley available at Costco at reasonable prices. Items can be dropped off at the E.48th Street Market on 10/26 and 27 before 6PM

Please contact Charlie Augello at Italian@e48stmarket.com if you would like to be a volunteer or be a cookie donor.

A shout out to our new members please consider volunteering at the USO, it is one of the most satisfying and rewarding day of service.

Help Make Someone's Holidays Brighter with Toys for Tots!

It's time to start shopping for our annual Toys for Tots collection - toys and such are out at Costco and other retail places! For many years, under the leadership of Jim and Janet Glass, Dunwoody Rotarians have been very generous in the Marines Toys for Tots Drive.

Look for toys, bikes and games and bring them to the Holiday luncheon on December 11!  If you have a van and can help with transporting the toys after the luncheon, please let Jim Glass know.

With your generosity, we can make this holiday season special for needy local youth!
