Lights, Camera, Rotary Action in Henry County


A video that provides a brief history of the Pledge of Allegiance had its “Premier Showing” at the Pass the Gavel event for the Henry County Rotary Club was one of the highlights of the meeting. The club has been working on this video for over a year. It was produced by members of the club - led by Rotarian George Siggins; the gropu wrote the script, developed the scenes, and acted the parts necessary, with help from a videographer in Henry County.

After screening the video, produced primarily for use by the Henry County School System, it is obvious that this six-minute video would be appropriate for any group that says the pledge during their meeting. The club was very pleased with the video and would hope that clubs throughout District 6900 would review it and pass it on to school systems and other organizations in their communities.
