Dunwoody Nature Center Butterfly Experience Festival

The Dunwoody Nature Center is seeking volunteers for its annual Butterfly Experience Festival, happening Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Dunwoody Nature Center.

This family-friendly weekend brings our community together for nature education, fun activities, and community connection. Volunteers are welcome to assist for a portion of the day or in roles that best fit their schedule and interests.

Volunteer Roles Available:

  • Guest Check-In & Directions: Help welcome guests and guide families around the festival grounds.
  • Festival Activities & Event Support: Assist with hands-on activities and general event logistics.
  • Setup & Cleanup: Help prepare the site before the event or wrap things up after.
  • Parking Assistance: Direct traffic and assist guests with parking.
  • Dog Adoption Activation: Engage with visitors and support the participating animal adoption organization.

How to Get Involved:

Anyone interested in volunteering will need to complete the volunteer registration first and then use the SignUpGenius link to select their specific Butterfly Experience volunteer role and time.
