As many of you know, David Philpot passed away last week at the age of 85. David has always been involved with Tina in our Rotary family - bringing a heart for helping others and an infectious laugh to our world. Most recently, David had been very involved as a volunteer at Anchor Place - sharing stories, his love for Roy Orbison's music, and a performance in as the wicked stepmother in Anchor's reading of a Cinderella story that brought the house down.
Our hearts and sympathy go out to Tina Philpot and her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm this Sunday, September 20, at Dunwoody United Methodist Church, 1548 Mount Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, Georgia 30338.
